Ngā Poutama: consumer, family and whānau experience survey

Results are now available from this survey about people’s experiences of care and support provided by district health board (DHB) mental health and addiction (MHA) services. The purpose of the survey is to help providers monitor and improve the quality and safety of services. Results from this survey complement the findings of our 2018 staff survey.

The survey was conducted from September to November 2019. Thank you to the 267 consumers, family and whānau members who participated and to all the DHB staff who supported the fieldwork.

MHA providers are encouraged to reuse the survey questions to support their own quality improvement work.
